It's hard to say whether or not that will screw up your chances, I'd say its really dependent on whether or not the person you emailed is annoyed by this rather than the firm trying to find a reason to say no to you. That's a bummer that it happened but I wouldn't worry ab it too much, that extra stress isn't gonna do anything for you. Keep us updated on what happens, good luck!
