Is this burnout?
Been working consistently 80+ hours a week for the past year on top of studying for my GMAT for B-school. Can’t seem to find the motivation to do anything right now but sleep anytime I have time off to study. Have a girlfriend she’s supportive but she’s been seeing that my mental health and psych isn’t the greatest right now. Haven’t been able to get approved time off due to being highly involved and relied upon across all mandates since we’re a lean team.

When did you quit? I haven’t really thought about quitting finance altogether but I need a break through the MBA. The job is soul sucking.

I definitely will. She’s been through the thick and thin of it, never complains about my schedule and appreciates any little time I have to see me. She deserves it.
