Here's a nickel's worth of free advice to any young banker who is married or in a serious relationship: if you don't have a "Fuck You" fund started, you'd better get one. This is money that is held in CASH ONLY (no paper trail) and is stashed someplace she'll never look. This is the money you use to escape when the inevitable happens. If you think it won't, or that little Suzy Rottencrotch isn't like that, you're kidding yourself and you deserve what is about to happen.
Take it from someone who knows. You're not that cool. If you're with a hot chick, she ain't there for the conversation (or the sex). She's there to get paid. If your income is about to hit the skids, Joe Shit the Ragman back in Pocatello, Idaho who is about to take over his dad's car stereo business is going to start looking really good to her.
