Jefferies Bonus/Clawback
AN1 here. Won’t go into details but quickly burning out at Jefferies. I know the signing bonus clawback is freed at the 1 year mark. From anyone at Jefferies, when is the soonest someone can leave while ensuring they are still paid a bonus?
Give your balls a tug.
After ur bonus hits ur account
The second you see your bonus hit your bank account on August 31st. Quit. I left Jefferies last summer. Sent an email to my staffer at 2:30 am the moment I saw the money hit.
You need to be on payroll as of June 30th to be paid a bonus. We had analysts that quit around June 10th, used their 20 days of PTO - so effectively were on payroll until June 30th and still got a bonus at the end of August.
Do you know when the $ amount of the bonus is locked in?
I don’t but that’s not something you can solve for. The ones that left weren’t really undercut on their bonuses.
yeah i did this too, so long as you are going to a client they will still pay you your bonus and in general it's a friendly exit. at least that was my experience.
