Anyone have any insight on what day to day/culture/WLB looks like at Jefferies FSG these days? Is it as sweaty as some of the other Jefferies groups?

LinkedIn says they got 900+ applications in four days smh. They should just take the top 300 or so resumes and host a squid game at a remote location
900 people clicked "apply". Of those, less than a 100 probably applied, of which there are probably 20-30 qualified candidates.
Over 1k applications. For one spot. Regardless of how many unqualified people applied, still, whoever ends up with that spot, hats off to you.
Most are from india(srs). I've seen other end of this. Like 99% are Indians with zero finance experience (hoping to escape the country and get a working visa).
Jefferies FSG is not an execution group at the firm. It's mostly MDs, no Associates or VPs. It's not a typical IB Analyst position since there is no execution so WLB is going to be good.
Everyone who knows IB knows pitching is the time suck, not execution.so the question is, are they pitching?
Ya but they don’t really hold pen on anything just do buyer strips and admin stuff it’s a chill gig you’re workin like max 60 hours over there and they still place to PE although are generally unprepared for when they hit the desk on the buyside due to lack of real banking chops
They do have one analyst
