Did they already communicate or pay out bonuses? curious how that works if they communicate and then layoff prior to it hitting the bank…
I don’t know, to be honest. I am not even an intern yet (I’m an “incoming intern”). However I have classmates who interned at the London office in summer and people they worked with recent got promoted (this is the Wholesale Payments/ Payments division).
Bonuses have already been paid

yes multiple 1st years fired all around. All cuts I’ve seen are A&As

News from EMEA? There is a strange feeling on the floor, but so far haven't heard of any cuts here...
Yep confirming cuts in NY IBD yesterday - all cuts i've heard have been at the A&A level

Commercial also did layoffs yesterday. A VP in my regional office was let go.
What about asset management?
