I applied to an early insight program at JP Morgan and got an email asking about my preferences. Does anyone know what this means?

Are you referring to group and location preferences?
It was a group preference, just filled it out where I could put up to three divisions. Do you know what this means?
They want to know which groups you prefer so they can figure out which kids to place in which interview groups etc. They try to align kids based on interest and needs.
So you would say that is a good thing and I might get an interview?
It isn't a bad thing. Could be automated and you could still not get an interview.
