We don't get bonuses until August
But from what A2's told me they were trash
JPM is a cheap, cheap bank. Jamie Dimon famously so. If you want to make money (comparatively speaking) don't come here. Any EB, MS/GS, will pay you better
Covid Year (summer 2020-summer2021) for class above me, literally averaging 100hrs a week for 12 months, a ton were ranked "middle bucket" and got 30K
I'd be seeing red for a month if that happened to me... it probably will in 7 months lol
And yes, it sucks and is retarded that we don't get a stub

lol as an AN1 last year got 70k and i lateraled in april, aka i got 70k for ~3 months of work. top in my group was 85k.

I literally work in this group. Shut the fuck up. You talk so confidently as if you don't realize bonuses across coverage groups are paid totally arbitrarily and group heads set the bucket levels, they’re not firmwide - unless you’re lying about working at JP, you should know this so please don’t be stupid.

An1 mid was 70-75 last year. Highest i heard was 90, lowest i heard was 50 and they were bad

if you got a 30k bonus, hard to believe you were mid, if you actually were mid, I would leave. I got 75k mid as an An2 product banker

I heard yesterday. It’s traditionally announced the day after earnings.
