JPM Comp Day
Jan 18th is JPM global comp day and bonuses will be paid out within a week? Also heard analyst bonus is pretty much a set amount with little fluctuation, so there's no reason to get hopes up over bonuses, especially after a year where YoY is down pretty much across the board.

Analyst bonuses are on a Aug cycle, so they are irrelevant today
Apologies, I'm in APAC so the time difference makes it the 18th here, so it should be the 17th in NA. Also how do you mean analyst bonuses are on Aug cycle? Does it mean analyst bonuses are paid out in Aug? I joined my team only recently so would love some clarification. Thanks!
I don’t know about APAC analysts in CB, but IB analysts in NA are paid out in August every year.
Had a quick question, the bonus range wasn’t mentioned in my FT letter (IB NYC), do they usually reveal it during reviews?
At the end of each cycle (summer for analysts) there is a performance review based on the feedback of people you worked with. You sit down with your staffer and she/he evaluates you according to a few performance dimensions. Bonus is announced in a separate, later compensation discussion with your group head and staffer and paid out with the August salary
Hoping for 0 bonus and job secured but thinking it might be 25% of base and a ticket to the bahamas 🥰

Didn't ask for people's specific numbers, but a VP who was "supposed" to be promoted to ED (MD and regional people previously talked to him and "implied") didn't actually get promoted.

Aso1 -> $100k ($90k Cash $10k RSUs) base going from 150 -> $170. I'm a banker so my comp is purely formulaic based on performance
