Worked in C&R at another bank for my SA stint - it's a great coverage group because the businesses are pretty straightforward. I mean you have restaurants, retailers, online retailers, etc. Just your normal balance sheet / operating metrics that you read about in textbooks. This is contrasted against looking at financials for insurance companies, tech start-ups, etc. From that perspective, it's a great place to learn the business. On another note, it's cool to work on companies that you have heard of and are familiar with - for me it was a bit of a novelty walking into restaurants that I was working on.

As far as JPM, they've got a top-notch C&R group up there with GS and BAML. They're advising Wal-Mart on the bid for Massmart, across from GS and DB, so there's that.
