JPM Lev Fin Europe team

hi - anyone know anything about the JPM Lev Fin Europe team? (London Office)

curious what the exits/culture/deal exposure like

also heard they are losing associates recently so wonder why

One of the best LevFin on the street together with GS and BNP Paribas

In terms of exits, everyone from the team wants to go PE but its extremely hard from LevFin so most ends up at Credit funds or Cap Market at Sponsors.

Team is well-known for being very toxic, and encourages nepotism hires. Seen people lateralling from places like ING or other no name banks to JPM LevFin.

You will do 0 modelling, very execution heavy team. A good place to be for 1-2 years.

Thank you that’s very helpful. And when you say toxic that’s in terms of team culture I assume? Or just brutal hours

Toxic and sweaty is not the same thing. Toxic as in VPs who lateralled from a no name bank thinks they are the boss and can treat you how ever they want, i.e. with unnecessary comments and extreme passive aggressive comments
