If you have to ask, you're doing it wrong.
Why is it wrong to ask? I am a non-target with no alumni in the bank and wanted to get a good perspective of groups before group placement starts. I see nothing wrong with it.
No one cares nor has any idea of "prestige" of IB groups out of a very very small group of people. You're better off listing what you're interested in and picking a group that way. If you had no interest in Healthcare, would you still choose a HC group? Your work quality won't be good if you don't have an interest. That's what I mean by you're going about it wrong.
