I just accepted an offer with JPM, I want to know if i am allowed to hold some mutual funds? Or do I have to sell it right away once I start working for JPM?

In all seriousness, you will still be able to trade as long as you clear the trades through their system. You will have a 30 day hold period and not be able to trade anything on the restricted list. Funds are ok too and I think you don't even need permission for broad market funds (SPY etc).
Sounds like a question for HR. Most banks follow a similar 30 day hold and there's a restricted list but nuances (i.e. ETFs, mutual funds, pre-approvals, etc.) are bank-specific. Just clear with them to avoid getting flagged when you join and disclose something that you shouldn't have.
