Junior Investment Banking Internship with no Sophomore internship
I am sophomore with a 3.85 gpa at a non-target considering a career in IB but don't have any sort of internship for this upcoming summer. Is it even possible at this point for me to recruit into IB as I am aware a lot of the recruiting and networking events are just starting now? If not, what are some recommended career alternatives that have later recruiting cycles but still good pay and exit opportunities. I was looking into corporate banking or maybe something in global markets but really just feel so overwhelmed by all the different career pathways and feel like I need to commit to a career path ASAP if I want to succeed.
