Junior Summer 2022 Recruiting

I am a Sophomore at a semi-target university with a 3.9 GPA and I recently signed an offer to work at a small boutique IB in New York this summer. Although I am thrilled to have secured an internship for this summer, I am now looking ahead to the process of applying to bigger boutiques and BB firms for my Junior year summer. I was curious about the timeline of this process, and when the bulk of networking and interviewing occurs. I have begun to have conversations with some of my connections about next summer, but have yet to send out any applications. Am I behind in this process, or should I mostly be sending out applications throughout the summer and early junior year.
