Just got a Position - Need Advice

Hello everyone,

I am excited to be here. I just got an offer for an IB Analyst position in a Banks Energy group. As I have been told by everyone. IB is challenging and demands a lot. I want to be as successful as possible in this role but I also don't want to come out "all guns blazing" then crash and burn.

Seeking advice from all the IB fellows out there on how they manage to be top performers consistently. How do you manage the hours. How do you recover, restore and rejuvenate. How do you bring in your A-game everyday. Exercise, meditation, coffee, family time, sleep schedule, morning routine. What have you done that has helped you.

I am really excited about this opportunity but I want to make sure I am well equipped to succeed.

Thank you.
