That sucks man, but you'd be shocked at how competitive you are in the marketplace with a year of experience at a BB. You've overcome the biggest obstacle which is getting that initial experience. It obviously isn't the path you initially imagined, but I have numerous stories of folks who got laid off and ended up absolutely killing it elsewhere. Take the rest of the week off to relax and then start pounding the pavement.
If you were interested in leaving banking anyways now is a perfect opportunity. There are plenty of places in other industries that look for someone with 1 - 2 years at a bb.
I'm sorry to hear that. As CompBanker said you've got great experience on your resume. Take a little time to process what happened, assess things and reach out to your contacts.

things to keep in mind:
like compbanker eluded to, a lot of people have tried for several years to gain the experience that you already have, so youre more than one-up on the competition on that front
there are so many other roles that your experiences would be well-matched for, as youre well aware. take heed of the fact that this makes you an extremely desirable candidate for numerous roles when you re-enter the job market
not only is a break well deserved, but a week or two can allow you to get your thoughts together and devise a strategy. immediately reaching out to ppl in your hour of desperation wont be favourable. give yourself enough time to relax, look back, decide what you want to do and realise how fortunate you really are. this is beyond a first world problem and is more like a 0.01% first world problem once you look past your finance circle of friends and live outside of the inducing finance bubble

Getting laid off sucks, I'm sorry to hear that. It happened to me at a pos small IB, but I am much better for it. Now I'm in a great career at a F500.
All the advice above is sound, but I'll add a few things:
I had 3 solid prospects in the first 3-4 weeks. The first ended up not panning out even though the hiring manager verbally offered the job. The second job sucked, but I almost took it because I needed $ ( which is why unemployment and being cheap are so important - you don't want to get desperate). The third is where I still work, but it took over 2 months to go through the entire process.
Even though things worked out well I wasn't at a point where I could afford 3 + months with no paycheck comfortably.
The other benefit is that once you get through this you're going to be motivated as hell.
