Laptop Recommendations
Hi guys. I will be working a finance internship in summer 2025 and trying to get a laptop to get more comfortable moving around in excel (not doing anything too heavy or crazy). What are some recommendations you might have?

XPS 15!! I really like mine, it’s fast, professional, and as good as any at necessary banking functions.
Thank you!!!
Agree with the XPS 15, it’s the standard nowadays
Thank you. It’s the one I’m going to get
As a second option - Lenovo ThinkPad.
Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon Extreme is a much better option than XPS 15 IMO
ThinkPad is the standard not XPS
Thinkpad is definitely the default. For people that aren’t boomers or companies that aren’t old school, seeing more XPS.
Gonna say go with a thinkpad. I used to be team XPS but you really can’t beat the build quality and reliability of a sturdy thinkpad. There’s a reason they are the gold standard in corporate - have had one from work for two years and am gonna switch over to a thinkpad as my daily driver when I switch roles (need my own computer)
you can also get a steal on a used one because of the oversupply from the corporate upgrade cycles, if that option interests you.
Thinkpad. Would’ve said Dell 15 years ago.
Any model recommendations for Thinkpad? Know X1 is the topline, but any others?
