How easy is it to lateral from LevFin to M&A (at a different bank) after 1 year of experience in LevFin? How to approach it?
Going into my second year and really want to break into M&A. Advice?

If you are doing a lot of LBO and acquisition finance, and your group does modeling, this shouldn't be all that hard (especially given the number of openings).
It’s definitely not impossible but there’s a million factors. Which bank are you at currently? Which banks are you targeting? How strong is your network? Do you have a good reason to why you want to switch? Etc etc
