I am looking to make a lateral IB move (final round interview's coming up) and was wondering what to expect in terms of compensation. Are salaries negotiable? My current firm just raised base pay so I am worried that the positions I am looking at would entail a base pay cut. Anyone who has made a lateral move as an analyst, I would appreciate your feedback.

Lol, you will get whatever the base pay is for your colleagues at your level. You aren't special. The only place for real negotiation is around bonuses/deferred comp, ie you have X amount of deferred comp you would like to bought out for, or if you had any bonuses with clawbacks that would require being paid back in the event you leave.
