Lateral Move As Analyst 1

Hi everyone,

I recently started at a boutique IB TMT shop on a work visa as an international student. No complaints so far: the base salary is street, the team currently allows remote work, hours are manageable, and the firm also sponsors H-1B. I’m not sure about bonuses yet, but I’m hoping they’ll be solid.

Looking ahead, my long-term goal is to pursue an M7 MBA (growing up in a developing country, this has always been a dream of mine) and eventually transition into PE. With that in mind, I’m aware that moving to a larger or more established IB platform could be helpful down the line.

What do you all think? Any advice or perspectives would be greatly appreciated.
