Lateralling during COVID

I'm interested to hear what you guys think about the market for lateralling 1st year analysts ATM and/or shortly after Christmas once they've had around five months on the desk. Obviously, some banks are spread thin and workloads have surprisingly gotten heavier during the pandemic and could use the extra capacity or fill seats of people who drop early into their stint. Currently at a solid shop, but accepted this offer with the intention of lateralling ASAP.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
