Lazard NYC vs Rothschild NYC

Opinions on Lazard vs. Rothschild (both NYC, full-time analyst)? Saw content on WSO, but updates were from 2011. I know both firms have changed a lot in the past few years, and am interested to learn more about their reputation, deal flow, experiences, offices, path forward, etc.

OP asked about 4-5 criteria and almost every single one Lazard beats out Rothschild. That isn’t to say Rothschild isn’t a good firm but it has nothing on Lazard. OP didn’t say he liked the people at Rothschild more, he wanted to know about the firms

Reputation - Lazard Deal flow - Lazard Office - Lazard (been there, great office) Future outlook- Lazard (Rothschild isn’t growing in the US so Lazard should still be a better)

And please “culture and people” how about you don’t f up an informational interview and pretend to act like you know what you’re talking about.
