Lazard Private Capital Advisory Group?

Does anyone have any information about this group? How would this compare to being in the generalist analyst program i.e. M&A/Restructuring in terms of exit options, modeling skills developed, work-life, etc?

Exit options and modeling skills will definitely be lower.

Your job will essentially be able to find LPs to give capital to PE shops or hedge funds looking to raise their next fund.

Not sure if you're also involved in helping LPs sell stakes in funds on the secondary market, but that's not a super high-touch role either.

That said, it's not a "bad job" in the grand scheme of things, and work/life will be a lot better than IB, it just won't open the doors that being an analyst there in coverage/RX would open.

Yea I applied a while ago. Went through several rounds of interviews (analysts, VPs) but never heard back from them. Think there's an existing thread on their SA2021 process.
