Depends on what year you are, what career you're looking to have, and where you want to end up out of school and long-term down the road. Give more information, and keep in mind you have a champagne problem. Or, more likely, get offers and then come talk.

I am permanently behind on PMs, it's not personal.

Prospector101im asking because i heard that blackrock fa isnt that hot on the street while lazard is a very respectable mm shop

Unless you're specifically referring to Lazard MM, I'd be careful about calling Lazard a mm shop

Yep. Continental/United merger isn't exactly a MM deal.

Wall Street leaders now understand that they made a mistake, one born of their innocent and trusting nature. They trusted ordinary Americans to behave more responsibly than they themselves ever would, and these ordinary Americans betrayed their trust.

FMA is like half consulting half IBD. As far as summer interns, this will be the first class they take. This summer will be the first class of full time analysts. FMA started in 2007, and previously they only hired people who had at least two years bulge bracket experience.

FMA was just hired on a job along with Barclays IBD and Boston Consulting Group for a project in Ireland, so you'll get great experience. With FMA, the issue is where do you go afterwards? The easiest path is just to stay in FMA or make a very easy switch over to PMG. You should have the skills to go into either IBD or a top consulting gig, but since FMA is only 3 years old no one has really done it before, so it's tough to say.
