Lincoln VOG SA Interview

Hi,

I have an upcoming interview with Lincoln VOG for SA'27. I have prior experience in LMM IB and understand valuations and questions. However, I was wondering if anyone has insights on the process? I have prepared the 400 Questions Guide and am considering to go in depth using the Red Book. Is that enough or will they expect more?

Based on the most helpful WSO content, Lincoln International interviews often include a mix of technical and behavioral questions, with some candidates mentioning the possibility of logic/IQ tests, though these are rare. Your preparation with the 400 Questions Guide and the Red Book is a solid foundation, especially if you already have experience in LMM IB and understand valuations.

To further strengthen your preparation: 1. Technical Mastery: Ensure you're comfortable with advanced valuation techniques, LBO modeling, and any industry-specific nuances Lincoln might focus on. 2. Behavioral Questions: Be ready to articulate your past experiences, teamwork examples, and why you're interested in Lincoln specifically. 3. Mock Interviews: Consider practicing with professionals or peers to simulate the interview environment. 4. Logic/IQ Tests: While rare, it might be worth brushing up on basic logic puzzles or problem-solving exercises just in case.

If you're thorough with these areas, you should be well-prepared for the process. Good luck!
