So I've been applying to places across the board, and I get notifications when my application is viewed. There are also some places where it says my resume was downloaded after they review it. Would it be weird to PM the recruiter of the position after they download my resume, or should I just wait?

Okay, so hypothetically if I got the mandatory video interview thing I should message the recruiter after I get it done? What would be a good follow-up since everyone gets the video screening? Should I keep it short and mention my background, or a full-on cover letter?
