Living at home as an analyst?
Accepted a FT offer with the group I interned with at a MM in the Midwest and am considering living at home with my parents for a year or two. Can anyone who has done this chime in?
My parents' house is about a 15-20 minute drive from the office (lived there this summer during SA and wasn't a huge hassle), whereas the other option would be a ~10 minute walk, paying at least 1k a month
You can try it and if it starts driving you crazy then you can always move out.
Edit: I lived at home for a little after college and it’s a GREAT way to save a ton of money too.
Given that you did it when you were a SA and didn’t mind it, I would say give it a try. You can easily move into your own space in the future if it doesn’t work out.
