Looking, for a Summer Internship

Hey guys, I know it's lame, but I just found out that the company I was going this summer is scam, so I really need another option. Anyone here still looking for summer interns? I have experience in Equity Research and I am really interested in investment banking, although I do not have any direct experience with it (but I can definitely walk you through a DCF). Area: Irvine, SoCal.

I will be able to start on July 7th.

PS: I am an international student, but I already have the paperworks submitted. I am definitely willing to take an unpaid position (so you don't need to worry about sponsorship and paperworks), as long as I am learning from the internship.

Thanks a lot. Please PM me or leave a comment if there's such an opporutnity in your company.

Like not even a slight chance, literally ZERO chance. All internships are pretty much starting next week.

Honestly if i was in ur shoes, I would cold call PWM shops, like working for an FA at MS or UBS, in hopes u can get in there and do their grunt work. PWM of course is bottom tier but it would def look better than nothing and they usually are paid, albeit minimum.

Also, if all else fails why not take easy summer courses to boost ur GPA? U can also pass that off as the reason why u didn't have an internship when u speak with employers

"iridescent007"This shop might be like a manufacturing line where it trains people and sends them to bigger firms and maintains a very small size, but it is definitely not scam in 2016/2017

I wouldn't hire you simply for your lack of judgement, but don't let the vox populi discourage you! Keep your chin up and keep working hard.

I got into IB 2yrs after graduation with a Science and Technology background. It's not a linear move for everyone. Good luck with everything!
