Looking for masters in finance programs with my profile

Hello. I'm looking to transition into a career in finance, specifically to work in IBD and then transition to private equity to hopefully to work with technology companies.

A little about myself: HYP 2014 graduate in engineering with a 3.76 GPA. Took the GMAT got a 770 with a 50 in Quant. I don't have any finance experience (currently working in Technology Consulting for a small non reputable tech-consulting company), so I would use the master's program to hopefully secure an internship before or after my masters. What programs would be right for me, specifically in terms of helping me land an internship and transition into IBD that are reachable based on my profile?

This is where I'm currently planning to apply:

Vanderbilt LBS in their new Financial Analysis Program LSE Masters in finance (long shot I know) Washington University in St. Louis Imperial College masters in financial engineering

Any other master's that I should consider? Are these master's good targets? Should I target any other schools?

On an semi-related note, how should I approach landing an IBD internship since I am currently out of school?

Thanks for the help guys!

You shouldn't need a masters with your profile. Id look closer at why you haven't been able to break in. With that said, you'd almost be a shoe in for MIT with stats like that.

Hi TNA, thanks for responding. The thing is is that I never pursued investment banking. I was going to go into research but decided that it wasn't right for me. I recently decided, after working for a year, to get into finance. How would I break into the field without experience or an internship? And how would I get experience or an internship without pursuing a Master's?

Any advice on how to break into the field post graduation would be appreciated.
