Why wouldn't he be a strong candidate candidate? In IBD once you are in a reputable shop like WF, it is relatively easy to lateral around.
Know several people who lateraled from places like WF & Jefferies to BBs or strong boutiques like Evercore, Laz, HL, Moelis etc.
