M. Eng at a target school

I'm currently an undergrad chemical engineering major at a non-target state school. I'm considering doing an M. Eng (one year, non-thesis based masters) at Cornell or possibly some other target schools. Would one year at a target be enough to get noticed by banks? Would a two year thesis based masters be more advantageous? Thanks.

why on earth would you get a masters in mech engineering if you want to get noticed by banks???? what about a MF? your logic doesn't make sense....go for MF (masters of finance)

banks like engineers...2 years ago

If you want to get into banking, either MBA or MF.

An undergrad degree with engineering will not help you in any way now(more like hurting you), especially when you are at a non target state school.
