Also to make it relevant for IB - giving a heads up for those who work for “Jewish” investment banks or have clients that are Jewish that Rosh Hashana - the Jewish new year holiday - runs this year from Friday evening to Sunday night.
My understanding is that Jewish tradition teaches that God judges the whole world on this holiday and determines their income for their year. Good luck :)

The start of your career in finance is the one opportunity you have to tell people whether or not you’re Jewish. If you’re not Jewish but want some extra days off every year it’s something to consider.
Does this work if you are brown or asian?
If anything it’s more convincing. You have to be a highly convicted individual to be a brown or Asian Jew. Though I would bother to learn the basic procedures involved in converting to Judaism in case you are asked.
