M&A: Citi, Credit Suisse or Deutsche?
Hey, have FT offers from Citi, Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. All for M&A groups. Could use some advice which you think would be the best choice in terms exposure, experience, prospects, exit options, reputation? People wise I like all of them and would comfortable at all 3.
I'd take CS. I've always had the idea they placed better in PE than DB or citi, but it's just a sensation.
Is this for NYC? What type of process are you in where you are just getting FT offers now?
I'd say:
In London CS, DB, Citi (Citi in Europe has been decimated - most good ppl have left).
How did you get a group specific offer? Or is this Europe?
In the US it would go:
Citi CS DB
It's probably for London, in which case I would go CS. Citi and DB aren't that great here for M&A.
CS for london, exit ops are good, know two personally who went to megafunds
Citi for U.S. , exit ops as described by 10x leverage are good from citi M&A, also megafunds
how did you get a group specific offer for citi nyc i thought they were all generalist?
id do cs.
cs all the way man
