broadcast.com - a website nobody used was sold by Mark Cuban for $5B. Yahoo survived this dumb move but it made Cuban the luckiest douche on the planet. And he still won't leave the limelight.

Another would be AT&T paying $100B to purchase TCI in a completely failed attempt to get into the cable business.

Another would be Quaker buying Snapple for $1.7 Billion, two years later it sold to Triarc for $0.3 Billion, three years later it sold to Cadburry Schwepes for $1.5 Billion. D'oh.
