Making the Jump from RX Consulting to IB

New guy here,

I've just joined an RX Consulting firm (not Alix, FTI, or A&M), and I'm excited to learn the RX business. I have a strong interest in IB, but wasn't able to do the traditional summer analyst to full time analyst route. I'm looking to lateral to IB at some point in the future (probably 1-3 years), and figured this would be a good place to ask a couple of questions. Seeing as I'm new to the space, any guidance is greatly appreciated.

1) I've heard that it's doable to make the jump from RX Consulting to IB, but is that specifically the RX group within the IB? I would prefer to go RX Consulting to RX IB but have absolutely no problem with joining any IB group. I'm just curious if it's more common to see jumps from RX Consulting to RX IB or jumps from RX Consulting to say M&A, LevFin, or sector focused IB groups.

2) As far as timing, should I try to lateral to an 2nd year IB analyst position immediately after a year of RX Consulting or should I wait 2-3 years and try to make the jump to IB associate?

3) What are the IBs that would probably take someone from RX Consulting? From what I've read, it's next to impossible to get in without an RX IB internship to some of the top RX IBs (PJT, Moelis, Houlihan etc).

4) Other than WSO, are there/where are good places that have IB recruiting/interview material specifically for people with a background in RX Consulting?

For background, I went to a non-target school and graduated Cum Laude with an Undergrad in Accounting and a Masters in Finance. I recognize that with my background and non-Alix/FTI/A&M current job, my options will be VERY slim, but again, any guidance/thoughts from anyone is greatly appreciated.
