Making too many mistakes as a Summer Analyst. Just me or normal?

Just joined the desk 2 weeks ago but I feel like I’ve been making a lot of really dumb mistakes starting from forgetting large numbers on a deck to forgetting to add someone on a calendar invite. Obviously I’m improving on these and not making the same mistakes twice but should I be worried? Is this a normal experience or is this enough to ding a SA?

These are easy parts of the job that you shouldn't be messing up. Don't get stuck up on past mistakes, focus on not making the same ones twice. If you do this the whole summer, then you're probably not getting the return. If you can improve, clean up the formatting/admin errors, and put in the hours, then you should be fine.

Hey retard,

stop gaslighting the other intern. He’s probably fine.

Nobody is tracking your mistakes on paper.

If you keep fucking up the same shit for the same people, they’ll notice. If you fuck up, just do the task slower next time. Interns don’t get judged on “speed”. I am full time and simple shit like calendar invites take me a while to send, maybe I have ADD, maybe I’m an idiot, who knows - but I take an extra minute to double and triple check before sending. Figure out what works for you
