Management consulting vs audit? To then move into Deal advisory (M&A), with the big 4 and finally into IB/PE.

Hey guys, so my predicament is that I have just graduated University and realised I enjoy technical finance work and want to make the move into banking.

My issue is I missed the IB campus recruiting and M&A role in the big 4.

However, I can work with management consulting or audit with PwC and needed to find out which would be better to then move into the deals team to get direct M&A experience, and then hopefully into IB or PE.
