Not sure if this is possible: I have a MS in engineering where I’m published in the field of AI. During my MS I started working in consulting at the Big 4 focused on M&A pre deal integration and tech. I was planning on applying to T10 MBA programs, but since I don’t have the relevant experience, I doubt a HF would recruit me. Is there another path or should I look into other finance goals (I.e MBA>IB>MM PE)

How many years you are out of MS? It is possible. Try to get into ER or IB without business school. With dedication and a little bit luck, it can be done.
