MBB vs. Top EB Post-MBA
How do the two paths compare in terms of lifestyle and eventual exit ops? I'm at a top MBA program, and most of my classmates seem to lean toward MBB, but I'm interested in hearing other perspectives.
What kind of exit opps do you want?
Do you want to do finance-y things? Go to banking. Do you want to do corporate strategy/non-finance things? Go to consulting. It's entirely up to what you want to do. Could you see yourself in either job long to medium term then go there. Post-MBA level is much less about the exit ops and it's more about what you actually want to do in life.
This. You should have a different mindset for post-MBA. You should try getting a role in what you're truly interested in after your MBA.
If you know you want to be in finance, EB. If you don’t know what you want to do or want to work in corporate, MBB.
