Meeting for the first time at EOFY Dinner

Hi all, a bit of a stupid question from an incoming intern. If I am meeting most of the team for the first time at their EOFY Drinks, is there a balance of work/casual talk I should aim to?

I also don’t want to be intruding too much on a dinner that’s celebrating their achievements (which I have not contributed to haha) so should I try not to butt in too much to conversations or introduce myself to everyone? On the other hand, I wouldn’t want to come across as withdrawn and unsociable as this will be my first impression on most of them.

Any help is much appreciated!

I am also assuming dress code would be business casual-ish but maybe a bit classy since it is a dinner - eg a skirt for womanswear?
