Miami Ohio Up Next

Miami University ranked #3 in nation for undergraduate teaching (tied with Harvard) and a top 10 program for entrepreneurship.

Loads of placements in IB this year- Goldman, EVR, Gugg, JPM, etc.

Not to mention the relationships they have with banks like William Blair, Keybank, and other regional banks who have CEOs who attended Miami. The school has produced the same amount of fortune-500 CEOs as MIT & Yale in its existence.

While it’s business school isn’t prestigious, it consistently ranks in terms of career outcomes for IB.

no where did anyone say target you clown I was highlighting an unrecognized pipeline for students who don’t have the highest stats

that “national stock pitch competition” is hosted by actual mouth breathers so who cares?

Not calling it a target by any means, but it’s  known to be a fratty place that sends a good number of bros from the midwest and Long Island to finance jobs in NYC and more so Chicago and regional spots like Cleveland, Indy etc.

Having lived in both Ohio and Texas, the Miami vibe is similar to the SMU vibe for those who are familiar. Rich kids partying hard and ending up where hard-partying rich kids tend to end up . . not usually a GS type of place, something “high finance” but also more chill.

Of course it’s all about the individual, I’m just saying what the stereotype is.
