Missed My HireVue
I'm a student at a semi-target and I missed my BB HireVue 2 weeks ago because I was an idiot and didn't see the email while I was on vacation. Would appreciate any advice on next steps or from people who have been in a similar position.
email the recruiter say you just found it in your spam folder
Apply to the several other BBs, this time using what you just learned
Yeah most likely the opportunity is just gone.

Not OP, but I didn’t do my BofA hirevue because I accepted another offer, but the recruiter reached out to me because I hadn’t done it.

you do know that banks have started to blacklist people who miss application steps without any reason...it’s shows poor attention to detail

@OP I’m sure nobody gives a fuck, and I’m also sure that spam folder excuse might just cut it.

Yup hit em with the spam folder line. Only risk is that two weeks in, the spots may be gone so don't expect much.

Depends on the bank.
Banks like JPM and MS send out hireviews to everyone who has a high enough GPA. These hireviews are pretty much useless. One of my buddy also submitted his hireview late and he ended up getting an offer from MS.
Banks like GS and BAML on the other hand actively screen for hireviews and basically treat them as first rounds. You can try saying that the email was lost in your spam but I am afraid that you might be too late and the spots for the super day might already be filled. Still worth a try tho!
