MIT MFin Admissions

Currently a second-year rising junior (graduating in 2024 I had credit coming in) and attending a non-target state school in the south. I have a 4.0 GPA (double major in Accounting and Finance) and I am using this summer to prepare for the GMAT. I was too late to the game for an internship this summer which is why I decided to devote it to studying for the GMAT. Ideally, I would want to go to MIT but other options I'm considering are Vandy, SMU, UT etc. How should I make myself competitive for MIT and lock in the other choices? When I took a practice GMAT I got a 670 with no prep so I think a 720-740ish score is realistic.
