MM Accounting Firm Consultant to MM IB

I’m starting as a Staff specialty tax service consultant for a MM Accounting firm in July.

Is it a complete fever dream to try and get hired to a generalist analyst 2 year program at a MM IB this fall?

I know how competitive IB is and am putting in the leg work to study and network.

I’m targeting Stephens specifically but would take anything.

Any advice welcome.

More info: Graduated Texas A&M Finance with a 3.54 GPA. Summer 24 internship doing R&D tax credit consulting and am returning to do the same this July.

Ideal location would be Dallas, but willing to consider relocating to where job offer(s) is/are.
