MM bank AN2 to ASO1 (or AN3): Promotion Package Guidance

Hello,

I am curious to learn more about the promotion package from AN2 (finishing up 2 years of analyst and heading to the beginning of Associate 1 promotion cycle). I have seen some outdated posts so I would like to learn more about the market if possible?

What is the expected base? What is the promotion bonus? Can the comp be expected to be at least 1x of base for a yearly compensation? I would think for the rest 6 months, comp will be adjusted for year-end pay out. Otherwise, I would like to hear from the forum.

Thank you!

Interested as well especially in the current market. I'm at one of Canadian banks in NYC and last year A2 bonuses were $70-110k, $40k A2A promotion bonus, salary bump to $175k, and December stub of ~$35-50k (from what I gathered).

I'm worried this year could lose the promo bonus and have sub $50k A2 bonuses.

Thank you for the response. It is good to hear.

I am curious and hope you don't mind me asking - the $175K new salary bump is for Associate 1 (after 2 years of analyst program). Correct? I know that salary band is for MBA Candidate (Associate 2) salary at some MM banks that I know.
