MM IBD or BB DCM

Hi! I am currently deciding between two SA offers. One is a generalist coverage offer from a strong MM (WF/RBC/Nomura), and the other is a DCM offer from a top BB (Jpm/Citi/BofA). I have a couple of questions to help me decide which would be the best fit.

I think I want to stay in banking long-term so am not as concerned about exit ops. I am more interested in which group would have better WLB and laterals. Is it generally easier to move from a coverage role at a top MM to a BB or to internally transfer from a Captial Markets role at a BB to the coverage side?

IB at MM any day. Internal mobility is very overestimated at BBs and it is very hard to move into IB FT having done non-IB the previous summer. You'll be better off re-recruiting FT next fall having done IB during your junior summer already.
