Moelis LA or Vista?
This is for summer analyst positions hoping to convert to full time analyst. What are the pros and cons of each? Thanks in advance.

If your end goal is working in distressed or HF, I think Moelis LA would give you more optionality. Otherwise, Vista.
I think if given the chance, Vista is not something you can pass up on. Even if you do the summer and potentially not like Vista full-time, you would be able to recruit almost anywhere.
I think at both firms the retention from SA to FT is near 100% but I would think you have a better shot at Vista.
Vista hands down. 9/10 I'd recommend people go with the reputable buyside program over a banking program.
