Exit opps are better at Moelis, specially for LBO type PE. A Qatalyst senior guy told me their guys mostly place into VC/Growth Equity type of places. Also got the sense that they like to grow career bankers vs being a 2 and out place.

However, if you know you want to be in tech/tech finance long-term, you'd be an idiot if you turn down Qatalyst.

Comp shouldn't mean much for you at this point. Either way, you'll be making a ridiculous amount for someone coming right out of college.

I've heard Moelis pays with the best of them, and everyone says Qatalyst pays above street. However, Qatalyst is so small that no one is really going to go around announcing bonus numbers because of the lack of anonymity.
