Moelis ltm performance and exits

Based on the pwp underperformance thread curious to hear about moelis performance over the last year or so. Are they doing better/in-line/worse than the other EBs? Additionally what are exits for the current second year class and out of what groups?

Your exit at Moelis will mostly depend on your alma. If you come from Wharton/Ross/Stern with 3.9+ GPA, you will likely get interviews from all the places you want considering that HH convo was solid. If you come from Kelley/UT type state school, solid UMM is more likely barring maybe Apollo. Performance is pretty much similar, as the firm basically touches anything and everything, from private MM to multi billion dollar deals ranging from sponsor-backed sell-side to large-cap public deals. The firm is focused on growing its technology practice following SVB acquisition, impacting both NY and SF teams.
